  • Establishing the three absences from meetings, protocol, and probationary period. Approvable is university events, death of family and friends, and illness of oneself or family member. Based off of term not semester.

  • This is the final week of the PSTE for anyone in the field. School of Education

  • School of Fine Arts

  • ​​ High School workshop

  • College of Arts and Sciences

  • ​​ Met with Dr. Waid-Lindberg for holding events that pertain to what happens after graduation and then this Thursday is the internship one. They want to expand this to be campus wide. Talked about Student Association sponsoring one of these events. Social media topic would be what we would choose to support as students. Mainly just to market this event, promote us and this event. There is a committee in CAS that is planning all of them, and we would just be partnering with them. Social Media one is in March, and Justin will be leading it.

  • ​​ ​ People helped judge the big IDEA competition. The workshop tomorrow has the competition.

  • At Large

  • ​​ ​ Haley is submitting all of the desired studies and will be sending it in to Dr. Lien and discussing them in a meeting with her.

  • Residence Halls

  • RA selection interview process is completed, and group processing will be held the 18th.

  • Graduate School

  • Sitting in on Grad council, looking at music and counseling in expanding those programs, as well as looking for a new professor due to the one who is out sick.

  • ​​Email from Katie Yung about Virginia statement about Neo-Nazis on campus’. Academic Affairs committee update with new classes, credit changes, and minor modifications.

  • New Math and Science building came out, and look amazing

  • Annika is the next senator of the week. In the waiting period for the Presidential Promenade and cost period. New Multicultural forum poster are up. Campus Crawl is still a go for us, people will make snowflakes for decoration. Need everyone’s graduation dates.

  • Finance

  • Setting a meeting date by the end of the semester. Working on the GAF increase.

  • Mention to Marty about Light up Northern event sand he us pumped about it! Next BOR is Dec 5-7. If anyone is interested, we can do a Parliamentary Procedures workshop in January.

  • SAI test day was today. Doubling numbers next semester

  • Band Clinic tomorrow

  • Girls Basketball won by 15 tonight!

  • Speech and Debate team went to BHSU and Jake and Hannah got 1st place. Foot also said that the debaters were really good which includes Darcy.
